They're coming along nicely. The brown leather is really beautiful. Those shoes will be wonderful when they're done.

Falling asleep to the sound of Michael Cain talking about the shoes he's making from scratch is a pretty chill way to end the night.

baby powder is the go but if its still a pain try a plastik shopping bag :)........ @ 3:12 yer them pincers have a nice head but you don't want to put a tack ther !! pull the toe 1st THE TOE! lol ... so lasting in a siting position is really not easy much easier on a strong pin in a standing position. so you r using no heat or steam? try steaming your uppers and lasting hot. im just going to mack a response video at sum point. thanks this is inspiring 👍

Your view count will grow steadily if you keep this up. I don't make shoes and probably never will but it's interesting to watch. Don't be discouraged by low numbers and keep pumping out content. The only suggestion I have for your channel is to condense your information into shorter videos if possible. I make instrumental music so if you're interested I'd make you a short and catchy intro for your videos. Free or you can send me some sweet shoes one day. Keep at er, you'll be a big name. 👍

Where does structure for the arch come in? Not the front-to-back pitch the shank supports, but the arch that builds on the center of the inside of the foot?
@harryrogers

Hi you achieve that with the inner sole.....as distinct from the mid and outsole.

@@harryrogers Thank you for that information. I had some bespoke shoes made when I was in Europe, but was never able to go back for a fitting after the initial measurement because of covid, and they had a bit too much arch for me (I have a rigid flatfoot). Sounds like that will be easy to resolve though, I was feeling bad about saying there was an issue with them.

Hi Ash...Shoes For Men ...which is really a nice shoes appreciation guide, but has some super photos and descriptions.....and the old reprints of Federick West on how to welt a shoe, and reprint of shoe repair and bootmaking...so pick these up on the likes of Amazon.
