Pt 2. CATHOLIC OR CHRISTIAN? Why you can’t be both at the same time. There are many beliefs of the Roman Catholic Church that are not scriptural; therefore one needs to leave the Catholic Church if one wants to be a true Christian and wants to make it to heaven and meanwhile wants to dwell in good covenant relationship with God. Actually once one starts examining the beliefs of the Catholic Church, it does not take long to realize that the Catholic Church is far more pagan than Christian.
When Constantine the Great decided to change the basic religious belief the Roman Empire in the 4th century AD to Christianity, he and his followers (particularly his mother Helena), simply (in its most simple form) went from persecuting real Christians to persecuting pagans. This does not make good Christians. Convert of suffer persecution and/or death. Why not simply give all the main characters of the pagan world Christian names? E.g. The Goddess Diana (Athena) Mary and instead of the baby being Hephaestus, why not baby Jesus? Or instead the goddess/mother Semiramis with her child Tanimuz, Mary and Jesus?
And that is just the beginning. Are Catholics good people? Yes, in general, as in any walks of life - some good and some not so good. But we are not addressing that point. We all need saving; believers and non-believers - Catholics and Protestants. The question I am addressing in this video is once a Catholic is converted; can they please God by trying to be both a good Catholic and a Christian at the same time? Have a look at the video, before answering that question.
