KZitem offered me this 5 years late today. Really awesome buck. Not too often a fella gets a second chance in just a few days at a deer that old. Perfect scenario played out pretty sweet. I can’t believe that arrow didn’t apparently double lung him. In over 50 years of bow hunting I’ve never or ever will use a mechanical head on game animals. Anyway, good video. Congratulations Mr. 👍👍

2:22 - Nice job focusing the camera on the deer in that frame. Most camera operators would've auto-focused the camera in the foreground, blurring the deer in the background.

Looked double lung on impact, but when he was running away, the arrow was angled back into the liver looks like. Really enjoy watching the public land section on MW.

Thanks Joshua. Start putting for points. It will probably take two points before you draw, maybe three.

One lungers can be a bear. I hit one at a steep angle and busted out one lung. I knew it too after looking at the footage. Let him go overnight. 14 hrs later he was still alive....barely. I jumped him, he ran 10 yds fell over and never got back up. He probably got liver in this video and thats why he was dead just a few hours later. Had he only gotten one lung it could have been a problem.

Yes, one lung and liver is actually a very deadly combo. But obviously, we shoot for the fastest kill possible.

I love chasing November but I find it hard to belive the guys walked 1.5 miles & shot that buck THEN walked back to the car to drop stuff off THEN walked 1.5 miles back to find the buck & dragged 1.5 miles out!!! Any idea how far 1.5miles is hiking through the woods!???? 1/4 maybe 1/2 but not 1.5!!

Chuck Toffey I dont that's what sets big buck slayers year in year out like them and myself and brothers apart. out of couple hundred people that I know there's only about 5 of us that do that walk that far and then some. Me and my brothers been doing it for 20+ years

I do it everyday day of weekend and some middle week days actually my first spot I hunt is little over 2 miles, wish I could show you what I have pulled out from that far! Last years deer taken a friend and I 4.5 hours to get buck out from back in that deep but we did and he’s on the wall , so this every year on public have several big boys out from deep in the forest

why do you carry your bow after dark? it would be illegal to shoot a deer even if it were still alive using lights after legal shooting time. y’all better check the game laws!
