Below is a description of who exactly is eligible for a Reduced fare ticket and what document should be carried in case of ticket inspection (a document certifying the right to this discount):
1. CHILDREN AND YOUTH from October 1 of the calendar year in which they turn 7 until the completion of the 16th year of age - a document with a photo and date of birth.
2. YOUTH AFTER TURNING 16 studying in public or non-public schools covered by the Polish education system - until the completion of the 24th year of age - a valid school ID.
3. STUDENTS AND PARTICIPANTS OF THIRD-DEGREE STUDIES - valid student or doctoral ID.
4. STUDENTS AND PARTICIPANTS OF FOREIGN SCHOOLS up to the age of 26 - a valid personalized ISIC card (International Student Identity Card).
5. PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES with certified:
- moderate disability (document: decision specifying the moderate degree of disability)
- total incapacity for work (document: decision on total incapacity for work)
- second-degree disability (document: decision on second-degree disability).
In addition, these individuals should have with them: a document enabling confirmation of identity and Disabled Person ID.
6. PEOPLE WITH HEARING IMPAIRMENTS - Disabled Person ID with a decree of mild disability with the entry of the cause of disability 03-L; ID issued by the Polish Association of the Deaf with the entry "hearing impaired."
7. RETIREES until the completion of the 70th year of life - an ID confirming retiree status; a final decision on the grant of retirement benefits; a document enabling confirmation of identity.
