Join us in making a puka shell ring-great for first-time and beginner-level jewelry makers out there! It’s simple to make (only need basic wire skills) and uses only ONE piece of wire and one shell :) We do suggest tumbling them when you are done, to “firm” them up a lot more!
How to make a shell ring? All you need is a ring mandrel, hammer, pliers and cutters, a puka shell, 1 ft. of wire (minimum 20 gauge thickness), and a sharpie!
Hope we gave you some inspirational ideas on how to turn shells into jewelry.
Aloha!
