Really like your videos..Glad I subscribed. Its obvious you enjoy your 1025r.Id really appreciate a video of using the backhoe to gauge just how useful/non useful it really is.Ive been a heavy equipment operator for 26 years and most videos I see about compact tlb’s I find painful to watch. So hard to tell if it’s useful or not with some of the horrible operators..I trust your advice. Thanks

BTW, you don't want to rake up the cores!!! They have tons of microbes in them and they help to break down the thatch on the top of the lawn. Sorry not to be a jerk, I've just been doing lawn care/ maintenance for 20 + years. Also went to MSU for this stuff

@@GoodWorksTractors yes on a golf course you have to because it interferes with quality of play. On the greens especially. But given a week or so ( sooner if it rains) and a mowing or two, the cores disintegrate back into the soil. Golf course lawns and regular lawns have 2 different standards, so it is a bit tough to make a "even" comparison

Nice looking attachment. The electric lift is definitely tempting. But I'm on the fence between pluggers and spikes. Awesome to see Rosie running around. Next time get some slow motion of her running around. I bet that would be beautiful footage.

Spikes open a hole by pushing the soil outward. So they are compacting the soil around it. I'm not a fan of that.

@@GoodWorksTractors Thanks Courtney. I've heard both ways. But seeing your "lawn" I can tell you know what you're talking about. I say "lawn" because I've seen golf courses that don't look as good as your yard.

@@GoodWorksTractors We're dog lovers. Field Spaniels and German (Shedder) Shepherds would be our very close second choice. We got two Giant Schnauzers, perfect breed for us. Only down side is they are very independent thinkers. When you call them they either come running or look at you funny and go about their business.

Nice but for slopes I would be worried about tipping . I have a 3pt dirt dog brand works well on 1025r and steep ground. It is heavy duty as well. Dirt Dog is a US company that makes a lot of the bush hog brand attachments.

Are you letting it plug too deeply? Should the wheels be set to only allow a 2" penetration? Looks like the deeper setting is distorting/tearing the plug hole.

No disrespect intended, but I'm surprised you would do that while your dog is out there. I think that's risky. There is plenty of time for the dog to run around after you're finished.
