Review and Test: This video explains a good reason why you should have a thermal spotter to discover the animal and a digital night vision. Two Roe Deer filmed free-handed with Pulsar Digex C50 vs. Pulsar Helion 2 XP50 Pro - Digital Night Vision vs. Thermal Imaging.
Conditions: About +2C, windy. Night time. Some stray light from street lighting. IR is on on the Digex C50. It has been raining before, so very hard conditions for the thermal.
There is actually a third roe deer hiding, but could only be seen (partly) with the thermal.
The Digex C50 Riflescope was not mounted to a firearm.
