Just started seeing your videos on KZitem and have subscribed and began following you on Facebook. I love your humor and especially your shou sugi ban projects. With so many color options out there, I was wondering how wonderful if would look to see a shou sugi ban “stained glass” project made out of pine? You could leave some of the burn on the edge of each piece to make it look like the solder edges. Just an idea for you next project. Can’t wait to see your next project.

For an easy way to make a circle, tack a small nail in the very center and tie a piece of string to the nail and tie the other end around a pencil, stretch the string out tight and then begin drawing your circle. It'll give you a almost perfect circle every time as long as you keep the string tight as you're drawing

That right there is a badass table, sir! What'd you do with the excess epoxy? I normally try to have something around to pour it into so it's not just wasted. I've actually been pouring my excess into a pringles can, and when it gets full enough, I'll probably cut it up into pen blanks, or use it for a handle for a different turning project.

What legs do you like using better the metal legs or the wood legs in your other table video?
@BuildDadBuild
5 жыл бұрын
I don't like the metal hairpin legs on the Punisher table. I think hairpin legs kind of lose their cool factor the taller they get. I won't do hairpin legs over 16" tops anymore. I really like the legs on the more recent build. I think that add a little still that the hairpin legs do not. And I got to burn them!🤣🥃🤣🥃
@MrCorygoin

@@BuildDadBuild yes burning them makes them way better and alot cooler looking. I built a love edge bench and ended up sending 2in. Metal for legs. Was not my favorite but looked cool. I'm going to do the same idea with the table but make it a lazy Susan ..

LOL. I just use carbon paper. Here's my process: 1. Create the design or logo (I use Adobe Illustrator, but there are plenty of free vector based programs out there, like Inkscape). 2. Size to the dimensions I need. In this case 22in 3. Print to size (using "Tile") 4. Tape the stencil together 5. Trace it on the wood Here's a link to carbon paper, but this one comes with some cool little styluses to trace better with. amzn.to/2KY0xQp
