I don't like either of them. I have tried it all! And it doesn't help 😭 I was hopping for more actual useful tips, instead of just advertising for toys 😟😥

The flirt pole & rope toy ABSOLUTELY SAVED US on many of those early days when the zoomies were overwhelming us. Thanks for bringing these toys to our attention.🐾

My little Westie LOVES the flirt pole and it has really helped me wear her out. I do need to be more careful about her leaping and twisting to catch it by keeping it on the ground. Thank you for the reminder. She's so fast and won't give the toy up easily when she catches it.

I dont have a flirt pole but i have a laser pointer! Both of my dogs absolutely love it!

Hey there Skye! We know laser pointers seem like a great way to exercise your dogs, but in fact it's important you stay away from them. They can create light obsession in dogs that can transfer to things like sunlight, flashlights, and reflective light from phones or collars. Light obsession is almost impossible to extinguish. Here is a blog post from a fellow canine professional explaining more about the dangers of laser lights: paws4udogs.wordpress.com/2014/12/22/the-dangers-of-playing-with-laser-lights/

I'm thinking the lickey mat, plus I'm going to try putting a toy in the food bag overnight. See how Maggie reacts to it.

Gigi, our 14 month old goldendoodle, loves tennis balls and KONG toys (wobbler, bone, balls, and puppy KONG) the most. I think I might try the long rope. Which one do you recommend since Gigi is a chewer and I would be worried about threads coming off, etc.? We had this experience with another rope toy for dogs and the threading and plastic handle got chewed very quickly.

Heavy duty ropes come in all shapes and sizes. Look for ropes that don't fray at the ends!

10mo old female cocker...spayed. She bites still a LOT. I can't brush her or do much to her without biting. It's bad. I've had several female cockers in the past, never had this much trouble. I can't get meds in her ears, because....biting. I'm frustrated, can't get her to stop...and doesn't listen to me when outside... *sigh* I know why God makes'em cute....so you don't KILL them. ;)

@@HowToTrainADreamDog I’m in Toronto Ontario, Canada. I’ve been asked to seek a behaviourist but challenging to find a good one and or a person who doesn’t use a choke chain or other methods that I don’t like.
