I like the padding up against the wires. Helps prevent stuck paws, muzzles, chewing, etc. A crate should always be used as a place of safety and never punishment. I like that she made a nice little cozy 'room' for the new puppy to come.

Serious question why do Americans use crates and lock their dogs up so much? Serious question nobody uses them in Europe (except health reasons or if you work with extremely traumatised dogs) just doggie proof your home and teach them to behave

​​@4 legs & 4 paws Not all people do & its not forever lol. With a puppy its just for sleeping or if the ower has to go out so the pup is safe. Its also just until they learn to go to the bathroom outside so they dont pee everywhere. Once they're trained of course they can roam free.
