Purdue basketball had one of the most shocking losses last year in the NCAA Tournament when they became just the second #1 seed to lose to a #16 seed in Fairleigh Dickinson. A lot was made over their style of play and the pitfalls that led to their early March demise, but that hasn't stopped them from being one of the best teams in the country in 2024. Behind likely repeat Wooden Award winner Zach Edey, and an improved backcourt group in guys like Braden Smith, Lance Jones, and Fletcher Loyer, Purdue looks just as good as last season, and dare I say, even better.
