As a Buckeyes fan, I was sad to see us loose but at the same time ecstatic to see this young man able to see the upset of the year. Rest In Peace, Tyler. No parent should have to bury their child.

My 10 year old son and 9 year old daughter were so blessed by his story. I live in New York and don't watch college football and just happened to watch the game. Your son came on. Inspired me then and inspired today. Thanks

There's something about energy and wanting it more. Purdue wanted it more. Regardless of record or opponent there was no way Purdue was losing that night. Put them against any team you can think of and they would still win.

It’s been such a long time since this game, and I am not a fan of either team. Literally no connection to either team, don’t even have friends who went to either school. I was flipping through games this night, and I remember checking this game at one point…watched it long enough for them to talk about Tyler. I didn’t switch off the rest of the game. It just seemed too important. It was great getting to watch a really good football game, but better to learn about him and know he got his wish.

#4 doesn’t know it but he was gifted the strength of 1000 men on that play. I don’t think the whole Ohio state defense could have tackled that man. Ohio state had a zero % chance of winning this one. This one was predetermined for sure…
