Them: Avenger’s Endgame was the most ambitious crossover of all time. Me: Ever see Wild Bill Hickok, Billy the Kid, Jesse James, and Doc Holiday team up for a good ol’ fashioned shootout? (All without messing with the actual timeline of the Old West at all). PS: Butch Cassidy probably would’ve joined, but he’d gone to hell about three days prior.

Good movie. Only thing is Doc Holliday died 11 years after Wild Bill Hickok, so he shouldn't be there yet. The movie says Billy is the newest arrival, but even Jesse James died after Billy the Kid

@alamudesky1959 People who enjoy stories, especially those based on real people from history, to be researched a bit better. Of all the characters based on real people, the only things they got right was that Wild Bill was the first of them to have died, and Jesse's brother outlived him by many yesrs. In real life, Billy was next, then Jesse, and finally Doc. The movie claims Billy was the most recent arrival, implying he died after Doc.

Wild Bill was known for wearing his guns that way I real life too. He also would draw them like that instead of crossing his arms like you’d expect
@mooneyes2k478

@@TheMan-je5xq But he wouldn't use holsters, instead having them stuck in a belt or sash. The guns in the movie are both right and not, too. They're Cold 1851 Colt Navy(well, they're replicas, but...), which was Hickock's favorite guns, but the ones in the movie are cartridge converted, and the real ones were cap-and-ball.

@@mooneyes2k478 well actually I’ve heard that Wild Bill did in fact go to cartridge by the time of his death
@mooneyes2k478

@@TheMan-je5xq Oh, sure, but not in those guns. At the time of his death, he generally carried a .32 rimfire revolver and a .32 rimfire derringer. The 1851 Navies were cap-and-ball, though. And while you could potentially convert them to cartridge, that would be a very distinctive look on the guns, which they don't have in the clip. Those are modern replicas designed from the start to take cartridges.

@@mooneyes2k478 well yes he did do a. Cartridge conversion actually and I have heard his guns were referred to as “belly guns” and you carried them in a belt though the question is how was he carrying them by the time of his death?
