Love all your sprouting plants. They look beautiful. :) Also, that curry looked so delicious. I love everything poppy too, so really loved seeing you use it in the dessert. They look so tasty. But what did you cook the seeds with? Just water?

Thank you so much! The poppy seed filling recipe is: - 60 ml vegan milk (I used unsweetened soy milk) - 60 grams of sugar - 30 ml maple syrup - 20 grams vegan butter - 100 grams ground poppy seeds - Lemon zest (I did just a little bit, you can do more if you like) You just mix everything very well in a small pot except for the poppy seeds, bring to a boil then add the poppy seeds and cook for another couple of minutes until it gets a little firm. Then let it cool for about an hour before putting them in the hamantaschen's dough.

This was a really fun video! I’m not Jewish but I just learned about Purim for the first time this year and I’d like to celebrate it next year because the book of Esther was actually my favorite story from my children’s bible that I had growing up. Lol anyway, I’d love to make those treats next year to celebrate because they looked delicious. I think the one I liked the look of more was poppy seed filling, I wonder what it would taste like with fruit too? Great video!!

Def interested in the plant life..I want to do the sweet potato too as I saw that on tiktok showing the vine. I tried an avocado seed last year but guess living in Canada, didn't work :( I have a spider plant too. I'm glad you explained the traditions, and dressing up in costumes sounds super fun. I've never seen a poppy seed dessert like that. LOL at your boyfriend imitating you..jokes on him we all see him now.

Ah, Hamantaschen! My coworkers bring them in during Purim and they're always so upset that I can't try them because they're apparently so good. Now I have an option to try! I've never cooked with so many poppy seeds, so I'm curious as to how that'd taste. Looks DELICIOUS!
