If you are thinking of trying UV Photography, there is an extra factor for you to consider - the purity of your light source. In this tutorial, we are going to explain why the purity of your UV light is important for ultraviolet-induced fluorescence photography.
There are many UV light sources available to try some UV photography. If you plan on shooting highly fluorescent objects like UV ink or white shirts... any UV torch or blacklight will do. For shooting more subtle subjects, like the glow from flowers, we need to cut out visible light altogether, including the light produced by your UV LEDs or full spectrum flash.
