This is one of the many pieces I improvised where I wish I knew what I had actually played.🤔🙄 The 1st progression of chords is what I refer to. This is maybe the biggest advantage a electronic keyboard has over an acoustic piano m. In my studio setup the keyboard is always on record. It can't be turned off. I don't know for how long you can go back, but I've never not had enough. It'd MIDI data (ie digital notation, as opposed the audio) so it's tiny amounts of data. You can fit the entire works of Mozart and Beethoven onto a few seconds of an audio CD. But improvising on the keyboard in the studio isn't the same. The feedback isn't there. By that I mean the instrument doesn't vibrate. And speaker don't convey the same immedicay nor can they match the vibrating mass. They are also way further away than the piano strings right in front of me. The biggest disadvantage of it is that it takes 3 minutes to be ready. By that time my idea is often gone.... First world problems, I know... 🙄😊🙏🎶🎶
