It does not work. My car has been soaking in purple power for about 2 weeks now.

Are you doing straight purple power?? Did you scuff the paint before putting it in there?? Any lacquer and enamel paint works.. you gotta scrub with a scotch brite after soaking for a while. Put it back in, repeat til it’s gone.

I am having to do it in sections because all I had was this big tote and it’s got 3 gallons in it still doesn’t quite cover the body..

@@IowaBudgetRCBashers yeah but does the lexan stay clear or does it get cloudy when the paint is off the body?

@@ShenRC it stays clear as glass.. no clouding at all. I’ll show a video when it’s all stripped off.

Cool, I need to do that to my green Jeep body? What ratio are you using or is it 100% strength?

Straight purple power. Here’s a suggestion though, wear gloves because it’s a bit caustic and will dry your hands out

@@IowaBudgetRCBashers yeah, I've used it for engines and stuff just never as a paint remover. I'm thinking a 5 gallon bucket might use less than a big tote. Even if you only dip 1/2 at a time.

@@leesrcs most definitely. I put 3gallons in tge tote and it didn’t cover it. Should’ve went to auto zone and got a 5 gallon bucket. Live n learn 😁
