I’m 52 years old and just now figuring out what i want and I’m going after it. I’ve known inside what I’ve wanted for 10 years and now on the road to get it. The one thing better than chasing Dreams is catching one.

Work smart, don’t just put the work. Consistency is far more effective than random noise just to feel like you’re working. Consistency helped me go from 0 to 6-figures online and can tell you is the biggest well known secret to any type of success

Agreed, Gary should stress working smart more. Yes you have to out work others to be the best, but you can save a lot of time by working on the right things as well. And yes consistently is key!

"Way too many decisions are made by factoring in the past without anticipating the future." - Gary Vaynerchuk Gary does this extremely well. Jumping on new social media platforms first, realizing the potential of cellphones and the internet and investing in companies like Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat and Uber while others are stuck in the past has helped him to become as successful as he is today.

Motivation videos and speech always helps to motivate me!!!!!! Recently, I've faced with some issues.... with my classmates. There is this one guy (who used to be my friend), trying tarnish my reputation by badmouthing me and texting my classmates telling bad stuff about me. He even asked people not to group with me during project work, I do not know why is he treating me like that.... I'm friendly to everyone and treats everyone like a friend. You guys might be curious why I stopped being friends with him, it was because of 3 group projects. We teamed up as a team, but he went MIA during the holidays and did not want to contribute his part of the project. I literally carry those 3 projects and was really pissed with him, I even asked him out to discuss the project. He always have excuses like having to go for events outside of school, tired and etc. At first, I thought maybe he has some problems at home or smth....so I texted him and ask, but found out that he just didn't care about those assignments. Resulting me in being really stress the semester, therefore I went to consult my lecturer for help as those projects were really important (40% of our End-of-Sem results). He did not reply my whatsapp text and even blue ticked me several times, he did not want to communicate at all... I have got no choice, I asked my lecturer to ask him out so 3 of us could talk. He act like nth happened infront of my lecturer and said that he was busy due to his Co-curricular activities (CCA). I was quite dumbfounded by the reply and got even more pissed! I kept telling myself to stay calm and talk things out. Eventually, tears just burst out due to the amount of stress as I need to revise for my exams, do those projects and work part-time. I think my classmates saw me crying and asked what happened, I told my close friends about the situation....and found out that not everyone in the class likes him and they already know what had happened as the lecturer told some of them about it. I did not bad-mouth about him or anything, all I do was to ask my lecturer for help that's all.... I do not understand why he has to treat me this way????? I am really stress in school, because of this i even have tons of negative thoughts...........I really had enough of everything he had done to me!!!!! Luckily, my family members were really supportive and always encourage me ; if not I think I am already dead. Now he even badmouth about me to my new lecturer, making the lecturer hates me. The lecturer would always indirect me in class and even purposely pair me and him up with another project.... I am really suffocating and have the urge to quit school, as most of my modules are project-based. No matter how hard I study, projects will always pull me down... What should I do? I really study really hard........but classmates and projects is killing me!!!!

What does Gary mean when he speaks about Ronald Reagan's computers (in 4:29)?

Researching it, it turns out computers went mainstream during Ronald Reagan's presidency, so the phones we all have today are infinitely more powerful than the ones RR used to dictate the entire country in his time.
