Was getting things done in the kitchen and thought I would drop this in real quick. Sweet potatoes are good for gut health, brain function and vision. Carrots are for eye health, gut health, boosts your skin, lowers cholesterol and turnips are for bone health, lung health and cardiovascular. All three are wonderful to help your body do what it does best!
If you need to hide the taste of turnips. Heat a cast iron skillet with butter ( or your fave oil). Toss in some cubed potatoes, onions, garlic along with cubed turnips. Add your fave seasonings and salt and pepper to taste and cook those together. Can top with cheese or sour cream for more flavor. In my picky house, that combo is a win! Enjoy
