In this video, I’m working on my 1984 John Deere 1050, a trusty tractor I've had for several years. It’s great for cutting fields and handling smaller jobs around the farm. Since I don't use it in the winter, I’m prepping it for storage. Along the way, I ran into a snag with my King Kutter finish mower - I didn’t realize the blade bolts were reverse-threaded, which led to snapping one of them. After several failed attempts to remove the broken bolt, I had to order a replacement part to finish sharpening the blades. Despite the hiccup, I managed to change the oil, sharpen the blades, and get the tractor ready for the off-season.
Let me know if you need any more adjustments!
