Nice video. Thx for that. I have one recomendation. Set the hpf of your speaker higher. For example , just run your FL speaker and find the frequency where you are at - 3db(pink noice) . This is your cut off frequency. By adding 5-10hz to your c. o. frequency, you dont run the speaker at its limit and it will get even more powerfull and precise at lower frequency. Subs LPF will be about the same as the cutoff of your speaker. HPF the same as the other speaker you did at the beginning (find - 3db, add +5-10hz) Let me know if you got an improvement. :)

This is a pretty good DSP amp for the price. I have one on my Kia Sorento, fully tuned to my preference, along with some entry-level Focal components in the front and Polk DB-652 coaxial in the rear, and an Kenwood 8" under seat sub. The set up really transformed the sound system into something which people would think I have a "really high-end" factory stereo in my car, something similar to an entry-level Mark Levinson. Yes, it's that good! The built-in amp seems small but it's loud enough for most people just looking for a +1 or 2 volume level upgrade from the stock. I never need to turn my volume over 10 (a scale from 1-40 on my stock system) and it's pretty darn loud already.

Hello. Can I ask you a question? You must have installed puzu dsp and made a Bluetooth connection. Do you listen by connecting Bluetooth to puzu dsp? Or do you listen to it through car Bluetooth? There seems to be a difference in sound between the two. I'm not sure which one is better or if the ears are dull.

I connect through my car Bluetooth only since that's what I tuned my DSP against. On my setup, there is a noticeable difference when going through my headunit's built-in equalizer settings and then my DSP's adjustments vs. going directly through the DSP itself.

The DSP has it's own Bluetooth input. I don't ever use that one because it's EQ settings don't sound right since I have everything tuned to my head unit's output instead. As long as you consistently use the input you've tuned the DSP to, you won't have that problem.

Yes, I re-used my Toyota harness and swapped out the PZ-C7 for the 8 channel, 31 band PZ-X4800. They have an Amazon with that DSP available at amzn.to/3kiOhLJ but you'll need to message them about the Toyota harness. It's a little overkill for my needs, but I have no regrets with the new system once I got everything re-tuned. It's not louder, but the sound is much better with the additional fine tuning and an actual separate channel for my subwoofer and 2 spare channels.

Hi Derrick! Can you tell me if that dsp unit is capable of dealing whit a good subwoofer or i need to buy a normal amplifier? My priority is to improve the sound in my car.

You'll want a different DSP with a dedicated channel for the subwoofer. Unless you have an active subwoofer, you'll need a separate amp for it as this is really only powerful enough for door speakers. I actually just got the PUZU PZ-X4800 DSP which is a bit overkill for my needs, but I really like it a lot. No regrets starting off with the PZ-C7, but never going back to a simple 7 channel DSP after playing with this new one.

You should be able to hit the RST button in the software and then zero out the channels. The HP Filter defaults are [ Fre: Off / Type: Butter / Slope: 6db ] , the LP defaults are [ Fre: 20600 / Type: Butter / Slope: 6db ], the Limiter defaults are [ DBu: -30.0 dBu / At. Time 0.3ms / Re.Time: Atk*2 ], and Noise Gate is 0.

@@VampyreX13 the problem is my car is right hand drive the dsp was originally programmed for left hand drive, so when I changed the time delay for the speakers and saved the settings I saved them for all modes later I realized the same settings in all mode. I have not backed up the original settings if you have a backup and share them it will be huge help.

@@bharatharun9271 default settings have the time delays all set to 0. Do you have a tC with stock speakers like me? I can invert my settings and send them to you.
