Thanks. Thinking of doing this to make a “corn maze” with pvc corn stalks.

I see it's been a couple years since you created this video but I wanted to thank you...I think you nailed the technique I had in mind for an upcoming event at my church. I'm wondering how much weight (concrete) would safely hold 7'-8' lengths of 1" PVC vertical, positioned in pairs about 4' apart. The horizontal cross piece would be holding a sheer net curtain and would not be subject to anyone (children or otherwise) in close proximity so I'm just trying to approximate how to modify holding each stand-alone pair so they won't tip over from their own weight plus an 8 ounce curtain. Would doubling what you created likely do the job? Thank you for any thoughts on the project 🙂

Great project. Heard that spraying inside of container with something like PAM oil helps. Suggested this in the past, would like to see something similar like this but for a stage backdrop

Thanks. PAM might work, but could it discolor the concrete?

Great video! I'm going to attempt something similar to use as temporary stands for a volleyball net on artificial turf since. I was planning on using either an empty coffee can or empty paint can, but like the bowl mold method you've got going too!

This was a very interesting build and it looks like everything turned out great. You could have put hot glue on the inside of the pvc before setting it in the bowl before you had put the concrete in. That would have helped to solidify and prevent concrete overlaying and cut down the cleaning process. Also to prevent concrete from sticking, using a sheet of plastic helps from sticking as you can peel it away after it cures.

This is a great one. I'm starting to put together booth materials for selling cigar box guitars, and this will have a number of uses. What an easy method for using the two fitting together diameter pipes to make the actual connection!!!! Thanks!

@@SpecificLove7 There's several resources. On Facebook check out cigar box nation (they also have a regular web forum with a huge amount of info.) Most of us buy parts and get info from C. B. Gitty Crafter's supply- and on facebook and youtube Friday's at 2pm eastern they have a live hour long broadcast that covers making and playing instruments. A lot of us starting building watching Glenn Watt (who now works for C. B Gitty) videos. kzitem.info
