Thanks! Here's some things I like to do: -Blit all objects onto a surface before blitting to the window - Pre render the overworld (Like in the video) - Separate tiles into groups depending on if they need to be drawn/checked dynamically or not - Only draw objects that are currently on the screen - If you need a bit of extra juice, you can run pygame.clock.tick_busy_loop()

Do you think you could make a tutorial in the future about how o implement new levels into an existing game such as yours

The idea is you want to create a "Level Class" that can generate all of your tiles/entities from an external file. It then just becomes a matter of telling the level class to load in the file of the level you want. If you wanna see how I did this for a tile based platformer specifically, you can check out the github repository for Natural Selection. You could also checkout the Game States tutorial to see how you could implement a level state in a game that doesn't have as much structure as a tile based game.
