As a woman in science myself, we desperately need more women scientists out there as role models and to give encouragement. Your KZitem channel is awesome, and I'm very grateful and happy that you are taking the time and putting in so much effort to produce this. Like other comments here, just ignore pointless negative comments. (In fact, many people watching KZitem videos will take care of the problem for you by "reporting" on anyone being inappropriate or abusive. I certainly would!) Keep up your great work! :D

Nope actually not I don't think if we should go for more women scientists just to promote women's interest in it. The reason I am saying is because psychologically women are not great fit for that environment where great innovations come to life. Well I don't say that they shouldn't be scientists but I am saying they should only be scientists or in such fields if they're able to fit and think according to such environment and it also applies to mens however on average women's are less likely to be interested in "things" then men. Have you ever wondered why girls when they're little kids are on average not interested in objects like, electronics etc? Exactly for same reason even though both genders are potentially capable but not as per the psychology. Have you wondered why there are more women's in medical sector than engineering? No injustice but just a little difference of psychology. So before saying ether men or women should join just for the sake of joining think what impact can it have. If you were to give let's say an engineering task such as software mens on average will choose it a lot more than womens. Stop spreading wrong advice instead you should people with actual interest and psychology should join as scientists regardless of gender. I have always enjoyed tech and I could associate objects and machines with human characteristics however my sister doesn't feel the same instead she feels it makes no sense at all. We both had same choice I chose it she didn't. There's nothing like unequal opportunity, women's are suppressed etc it's just a scientific fact. In case of anatasi she is scientist because she was really interested in that and developed thinking that is fit for such job. Science requires you to step out of the hole and look outside, with thinking you have to figure which one is hole and where is the way. It all applies to all genders, however men's perform best at engineering and related fields because of thinking they have developed.
@yashaswikulshreshtha1588

@Itachi Uchiha Noone is inferior to anyone however certain difference exist that can bring down or up some genders. Most of the scientific, philosophical and engineering work is done by men's not because they're more smarter but they're psychologically different than womens hence there are not many women scientists and philosophers neither I think we can expect women's to take over the fields of men's because psychologically they're not quite capable to do that naturally unless they try it consciously and intentionally. Women's are mostly employed have significant progress in other areas. I really hope instead of spreading false hope of potential we should discuss everyones differences to prevent any misconception. Men's are also unable to do certain things but men's don't frikken start a rally against women demanding rights and etc. And I hate people who promote gender in fields rather than fields among genders. It is very against innovation and such people are unintentionally contributing to killing of innovation and discoveries. How about we just let everyone do what they want and what they're good at instead of promoting these things. You can't promote something unless it wants to get promoted

Anastasi, I can only compliment you, for your skill and for how you explain it in your videos. Mine is just curiosity, I am 77 years old and I have almost always worked in the electronics field but at a much lower level (due to low education), starting with thermionic valves, then the first transistors, then with integrated circuits. With the advent of the first CAE, CAD I continued as a multidisciplinary "designer" (electronics, electrical engineering and mechanics). The difference in level between my era and yours is impressive and I am shocked, I can only partially understand your explanations but enough to satisfy my curiosity. Just found your channel. I love it and look forward to watching your entire library of videos. As an old man I have found that the best way to deal with negative people is to just ignore them. It seems their goal is to get attention and when you deny them their attention they will just fade away. As far as taking it personally, if you can succeed in such a demanding situation (learning engineering, moving to a new country, learning a new language, ect...) then you are truly a very strong person. Most people take more note of negative comments than positive comments, even when it is SO OBVIOUS that you have many more things going FOR you than AGAINST you. Be fair to yourself and see the positives first. I am a retired Electronics Technician who learned analog before digital, so I look forward to learning your perspective as an Engineer who deals mainly with digital. QUESTION: You asked for video ideas, so here is one. I'd like to watch one about what's involved in modern chip manufacturing. I understand TSMC and Samsung are each building a big new plant in the US (Arizona & Texas, looks like) and with the current shortage probably elsewhere in the world as well. I imagine robotic automation has come to this industry as much or more than any. What kinds of tasks still have to be done by people these days? Obviously chip design is a very high tech "brain" job, but what about the manufacturing side? Where do you get the machines to put in the factories--does each company make their own? What other considerations are there for starting a new chip fab plant? That kind of thing. I'd imagine it'd be a popular topic people are curious about, considering the current chip shortage. Thanks for your videos. I'm a business software developer and took some basic EE classes a long time ago. This doesn't directly relate to my work but I think anytime I have better understanding of the lower level stuff--operating systems, hardware, and even chip design concepts--I can make better decisions writing code on top of them. That being said, I mostly watch because you make it fun and interesting.

You are a fascinating person, for sure. You remind me of my enthusiasm when I was younger. When I learned about computers in the early 1980's, I begged my dad to buy me one until he did. I quickly learned to program in BASIC (made adventure games and an adventure game maker, among other things), then M6809 assembly, later C, then various other languages. I remember being amazed that a person could design logic and therefore make anything that could be logically explained. I decided I wanted to create a mind (did not yet know the word, AI) because it would be the ultimate final problem to solve. I started with a simple sentence parser. I remember parsing a sequence of sentences to capture grammar patterns and then replying randomly. The sentences it produced were grammatically correct but total nonesense. So I started thinking really hard and quickly realized it was hard. I didn't even know what a mind was supposed to do. I have never stopped trying. I read a lot of books and made a series of neural simultators. I found they were far too slow to be useful (before GPGPU) but learned some tricks in optimizing fluid dynamics processes while working with a group of astrophysicists on Galaxies collision simulations. I finally derived several faster was to do this without neuromorphic chips. And then I also worked on chatbots (with real semantic processing--not just string pattern responders). And lastly, I found a way to combine both. That is what I work on now. It's really good, I think. But I am not as enthusiastic I used to be... which is why it is refreshing to see your enthusiasm. I am getting old and have to sit all day at work and have little time or opportunity to exercise.... I get too little sleep. I cannot wait to retire so I can focus on my life long passion. I can finish but just need to stay alive long enough.. I feel so close.

We have a girls school in Uganda and we are HUGE on female education, especially in developing countries. Keep setting the leadership bar HIGH! Much respect.

Thanks for your videos. They are fresh and thoughtful because you work in the field. (Prof Tip: I used to research AI and Genetic Algorithms, which imitates the hybrid vigor of offspring in simulated Natural Selection. You might want to check out GAs as a great way to optimize hard problems in design, etc.).

As a lifelong computing and controls technology geek I like all your videos as a easy new tech source. This video was a great idea of yours as a big question in the back of my mind watching your tech videos has been your engineering background and real understanding. This video answered the question of who you are and your real understanding of topic. Your definitely not just a pretty face parroting technology information. Keep it up your doing a great job!

I think it is so much more difficult to gain knowledge in the more hardware related subjects in the Tec industry. I've been studying Electrical engineering in my undergraduate and Computer Engineering in my masters program. To learn for Modules like VLSI-Desing or PCB-design you get most of your input in lectures or dry books. However, I wrote my master thesis in Computer Vison with machine learning. It seems there are endless resources online and even for the most advanced concepts, there are KZitem Videos. Same goes for everything that's Web-technology related. I think your channel is one step in the right direction.

That's why you make an apprenticeship before or after you go to university. Otherwise you stay a dummy and those who actually do the practical work laugh at you because they have to correct the errors you make by only knowing things theoretically.

That's exactly what I always say. I did an apprenticeship as an electronics technician (3.5 years German dual apprenticeship system). Then I worked for half a year before I studied. But when I look at my fellow students now, I sometimes think that they are on exactly the same level career-wise, but have not "wasted" 4 years.

Thank you, I am new to your channel but have always been interested in computer technology. The internet has changed a lot since I started working on it in 1990… As for the hater’s comments, ignore them it is not worth your time. I personally appreciate the deep dives into the trending tech, excellent job.

I am 71, and a computer enthusiast. When I was a Kiddo, in class, (USA) they kept reminding us of a MYTH. The teachers would say, "Girls don't do as well as boys in science and math....." They said it was because of a left-brain/right-brain difference. Look at the young lady's now! They are constantly exceeding the young boys all the way through college. That was either completely FALSE back then OR young Girls hearing that over and over were limited by it. Anastasi, you inspire EVERYBODY!! ❤

I often watch your channel, and what sets you apart is your enthusiasm for tackling challenging technological problems and presenting unique perspectives. I would encourage you to consider visiting the USA and exploring research institutions and Silicon Valley to gain a firsthand understanding of how technology is advancing in this country.

Just found your channel. Your personal experience is impressive ! Not many women are interesting to listen to. Most women on YT are there to talk about themselves or about makeup tutorials. Good on you for persevering. It's the secret for success, generally speaking. I'm in tech too, but not microchip tech, so I just subscribed. 👍

Today your channel was suggested to me. It's very interesting. You present your topics very good and understandable. So from today you have a new follower. Because I'm interested in electronics since I was a little child. My grandfather developed communication electronics in an institute in East-Berlin with tubes, transistors and the first chips - analog and later digital. He also wrotes a book decades ago and gave lectures at the Humboldt University in Berlin about these topics. 40 years ago I wanted to follow a path similar to his and yours but in the political system in GDR they didn't want it. First after the downfall of the wall I switched to IT and today I work as a software developer. Now both of my sons study computer science, one of them actually in China.

When I went to EECS school in Sydney, Australia back in 1985, there were 200 students in my cohort. Only 5 were women, rest were men (including myself). Today in 2022, my son is in Computer Engineering is USA and there are almost 50% women in his cohort. Australia enrollments are also around 40% women now. Keep up the good work for the next generation of EECS. The numbers need to rise world wide.

I stumbled upon your channel couple of weeks ago. Lately I started being more more interested into new chips so this channel gives a good insight into it. Since I work as Dwh/BI engineer I'd be really happy to see more technical info, but then I know people wouldn't like that. It's an interesting channel and it will definately take time to grow. If you're interested for phd, go for it!
