Thanks for answering my question Mike. I really appreciate it. Yes I goofed and didn’t catch the spelling error until you did. Spellcheck is a joke. It is supposed to be pto. I was thinking more about it and wondering if the speed has to do with input energy. Higher speed, less input stress. Don’t know if I’m right or not. Love these videos. Keep up the great work my brother. See you in the next.

Nice tip of the the hat to "Grumpy"! He isn't too grumpy about farming, it's the other stuff that gets him going! You do a great job NOT griping about what a roller coaster ride the Dairy biz is. And it's great that you have a family history of production Ag! Kudos, my friend!

Hey Mike, these q&a’s are cool. I think you should really sit down and do a video with your dad. Andy Dennison did a video with his dad quite a while back, and I always thought it was one of his best videos and I told him that before. Take care.

Your farm operation very much impresses me with how you've been able to grow as well as on the equipment side. I lived on a 400 acre dairy farm in Atlantic Canada as a kid in the 80's. We had around 125 Jersey's total. 3 JD tractors, biggest being a 4030 80pto, then an 1840 60 pto mfwd/loader and a 2010 gas utility with loader. And we square baled everything into rack wagons. I remember very well us getting a brand new John Deere (kuhn) discbine I think in 1987, ether a 1326 or 1327 model. That was a big upgrade at that time switching from a sickle type mower.

@@mikep7810 It was, it was lost in 2015 and sold off for unpaid tax's and debt owed to the farm. Everything was purchased by a German investor in late 2015 at the government tax sale. House was torn down. The dairy barn actually collapsed just before this past Christmas after a sever rain and heavy wind storm. Property still belongs the the same man that purchased the property in 2015. And everything has been slowly growing up and building slowly falling down as time passes.

On used tractors, I am always more interested in if it was being used regularly. All the issues that are a everyday pain will usually be taken care of. If they are not taken care of then it will require some work to make it ''trouble free'' daily runner. All you have to do to have a tractor in need of a lot of repair is nothing. Thanks for fielding lots of questions!

Thanks Paul. Making decisions on the farm basically depends on what the question is. Bigger decisions like machine purchases we talk it over and come up with a mutual decision

Love the old videos. Wish we had this generations ago. All of that is word of mouth. If anyone has access to that by word of mouth should share. I have many relatives of age that past down stories all the time. I try to pass down as much as possible but it's getting harder to get the younger generation to listen. It's an internal thing. Your farm is thing of the past that needs to be remembered. No offence but fewer and further between. KEEP UP THE CONTENT!
