About feeding people. My grandma was Ukrainian and Holodomor survivor. She was 8 years old then and she sometimes would tell horrible stories she remembered. She would feed everyone coming round. "- Are you hungry? - No, grannie, thank you. - Dobre, dobre, I'll make scambled eggs with solonina for you. Now, have a glass of tea, get some bread and sit down." It was impossible to escape eating something at grannie's. And I think that almost every Ukrainian had a grannie of this kind. That's why the first thing they want to do, is to feed you. Is just the nation's shared memory.

I think that's not specific for Ukrainians. Russians were as hospital as Ukrainians or Gruzinians were to me back in time, or my own mother (I'm German). There are peoples out there who are more "nice" than others, but you will always find them if you're open minded yourself. Traveling a lot helps to understand others and what you will find in people, you didn't really know before and had a wrong conception, will warm your heart.

You sir, are my latest KZitem obsession (in a non bunny boiler sort of way) I came across you randomly being interviewed on the bench by an American where you mentioned your TBI and I've been making my way thru your videos since 😊 your sense of humour amazes me, I've always believed a sense of humour is key in times of darkness, my Dad lost both his legs and he was famous for the sense of humour he maintained throughout his recovery "how are you today Bill?" "I'm run off my feet!" Taking him shopping anyone who got close to his wheels "oi, watch my toes, you nearly stood on them" His sense of humour got him thru but he suddenly lost his humour and he passed not long after. Never under estimate the power of the mind, strong mind = strong body. When you laughed about the dog running off with his owners shoulder in his mouth, ordinarily you wouldn't laugh at something like that but this is 2023 straight off the heels of 2022 which was straight off the heels of a global pandemic! if we didn't laugh we would all break down and cry and probably never leave our beds again! I think what you're doing is truly amazing and the world needs more people like you ❤️🇺🇦 stay safe, stay smiling stay strong

You’re welcome. No I’m afraid not. I’m grateful for this support, but at the same time it’s a cross I nailed myself to, she wishes not for this burden but understands the importance of it. Let Nika be. She has a lot on her plate, although she would never admit it.

I would love to see you in Sweden and cities, small towns, also I'm a huge fan of any sport with kids whom have had some issues. I was one of those girls, and I would love to support boys or girls on their journey. I'm also a huge dog 🐶 lover. I would love to see your sweetie. Lynn

Great idea about the boxing for kids and youth in risk of choosing the wrong way 👍! It's really going the wrong way here in Sweden. Shootings every other day, kids younger than 15 are involved. It's getting crazy, so anything that can make kids stay away from that shit is welcome 😊

@@eamonnclabby7067boxing life stories podcast by Tris Dixon is my inspiration for the interviews. Filled with loads of scousers who competed on the top stage. I find their origins and coming through the Rotunda and other amateur clubs so compelling. There was always kind older men who gave their time and effort to those kids.
