Some passion fruit plants are self-fertile and others need cross pollination from another variety. UT Extension Agent Chris Cooper says if you do not have a self-fertile variety you will need to plant another plant of a different variety to allow crosspollination. Also, Chris recommends not fertilizing regularly, especially with nitrogen fertilizer.
