Im sorry brother, I love your teachings, but i think you’ve complicated this matter more than it needs to be. The rapture of the church is certainly imminent now, considering all of those events Paul warned of concerning the end of the dispensation of grace (2 Timothy 3:7) have literally already happened and are happening right now. We need to be getting ready to leave this place as our rapture is any day now and the start of the 70th week is about to begin.

Paul warned that in the last days, professing believers would not stand hearing the truth but would prefer lies. What gospel is preached among 99% of Christendom? Not Paul's gospel! What is preached AND BELIEVED BY MOST is either grace mixed with Israel's works and rituals, or an entirely different gospel altogether. Meaning, most "Christians" won't stand hearing the truth of salvation by grace through faith in Christ's DB&R without works. But they not only won't believe it--they will actively OPPOSE it because they've already bet their souls on various traditions of men (lies). Just as Paul foretold. Which means the end of this dispensation of grace must be close.

By 2 Tim all in Asia had turned from the distinctive message and ministry of the Apostle Paul. It sure seems as if those these are the last days spoken of in 2 Tim:3. God is longsuffering.

I believe that the Lord wants His church to be ready for Him, and there are many scriptures that talk about the seasons of preparation, and warnings about the times. So in actual fact the rapture is only imminent at the end of the age of grace, as we see the decline of morality, lawlessness and the world. Jesus has given us sign posts to look at. What about as in the days of Noah and Lot, there are clear clues there also. It seems to me that the church will be snatched away (pulled out) prior to an impending disaster. That is our Blessed Hope!. 😀

Hi brother. So you don't feel that the things Paul mentioned in 2Tim3 are occurring now? And if so; when they do occur, how does a believer know what level or severity of those things must rise to in order to satisfy the scripture? Because would not that be a subjective opinion? Thanks, Amb John Estes.

The "being caught away" CAN happen any day now. There are too many evidences, as set forth in "THE scroll" to lead to this fact. Also "we cannot know the day or hour" is also a doctrine of men, misinterpreted.

In 1Co 15:23-24, the apostle Paul speaks about resurrection. 1Co 15:23 - But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Where is the pré-trib. Rapture? 1Co 15:24 - Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. Here it is the Second resurrection, after the millennium.

Here is a question, instead of making Christian a self centered mindset community: would the Rapture be spectacular, if so, wouldn't the world wanting to be converted as followers of Christ?

No, they won't because God is going to send the judgment of strong delusion upon all who understood but rejected the saving Gospel.

Thank you David.. you mentioned that the rapture was a mystery to Paul in I Corinthians 15:51.. never before revealed, then you go “back” in time to Acts (various verses) to show the rapture couldn’t have been imminent (true). However, my question would be If I Corinthians is after Acts.. why would Paul be concerned about the Rapture being imminent or not, (it hadn’t been reveled to him yet). In later books like I Thessalonians, 1:10 Paul encourages them to “wait for God’s son from heaven, and that He delivered ( past tense) us from the wrath to come” then in Titus 2:13 Paul encourages them (us) to live right in this present world, “looking for that Blessed hope ( is this referring to the rapture) and glorious appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ”. seems like Paul is saying always be on the lookout for the rapture as you live your everyday life, like it could happen at anytime, do you think Paul EVER thought it could happen at any moment later on in his life?

@markelliston5458 To clarify, 1Corinthians is not written after Acts. It is written in Acts 19. I don't think Paul thought the Rapture could happen any moment. When Paul prophesied of future events that occur in the dispensation of grace (e.g., 1Tim 4, 2Tim 3), Paul obviously didn't think the Rapture could occur before those prophecies were fulfilled. Hope this helps. Grace.

Should the rapture be eminent? I understand Brother David’s point. Rather we should be looking for that blessed hope. Titus 2:11-14 (KJV) 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

In 2 Timothy 3:2 Paul seems to be describing men & he says they will be disobedient to parents but I’ve always thought that was to young men, how could it be adult “ men” ? And is he only talking about men & not women? Can you explain how women could be included in these verses because when he tells women things he specifically addresses them . That has always confused me . Can you teach us about that please 😊?

@takinittotheheatandthestreet One thing to keep in mind is that scripture sometimes uses the word "men" in a way that includes women (e.g., John 12:32, Rom 12:18). Hope this helps. Grace.

SOON? How soon? Have you done any studies that reflect how close it might be? Because many of the sign posts given are happening in todays life. Please share as a point of DISCUSSION ONLY, not for date setting. FOR example: We know that there appears to be 7000 total years in dispensations on the earth, minus 1000 millennial gets us to 6000.... Thank you.

Soon has always been the question .. since 2015 the Rapture band wagon has taken off. I laugh at all these folks trying to tie the Rapture to Jewish feast days… while it may happen on such a day but it is certainly not tied to such a Jewish feast
