Got a pair of these, they're so nice. So painful to watch but I appreciate the tear down, gives me insight on how the build is specially how to remove the ear cup foams for possible replacement in the future. Regarding the "build quality", one needs to be very careful in handling these headphones. As shown, there are a lot of screws holding the headphones together. In addition, the headphones are fairly heavy. If the headphones are dropped even from a low height, the impact plus the weight could cause the screw sockets to break and the headphone components to split apart. I know this because I broke THREE of them. When not in use, I highly recommend the usage of a headphone case.

For what purpose do they do this? I know that they will answer me, it is to know what they have inside. But after all this disassembled, they go back and assemble it? Or do they just leave it like that and that's it? Well, the interesting thing would be that they leave it as it was before. IMHO!🤔🤷🏻♂️🎧

Hey man nice video! I have a Q30 too and the left side is not working the bass, so i was wondering if i could fix it by myself. i'm using it for a month and already broke. Maybe he fell to the ground and took off the driver, If you were me, would you try to fix it? even though I have no experience.

May I ask if you noticed anything different in terms of wiring etc. between the two cups, as my Q30’s seem to have slightly stronger bass and drumkick in the right cup vs. my wired Apple earpods or Jaybird X4 which both sound well balanced.

Great video but if I may ask, what's the little vent between the hinge and the earpads for? I'm trying to see if I can make my q30 sound better with better bass response

Sorry, I have no idea. Unlikely the sound quality can be improved that way.

Man i wish you would replace earpads itself, i mean that leather earpads from the earcups, i was wondering if its possible to put velour custom earpads instead (without dismantling plastic part).

I'm sure the replacement pads will be available. Q30 was only released two months ago.

@@ToolsElectroDIY i dont think they can help. I wont get refund because its been half a year and i tried all reset types and stuff. Its probably just a broken speaker. I took it apart but all wires and stuff were fine

I hate to see the wiring being damaged. I can see that you are planning to throw these ears in the garbage. The connections can be unsoldered nicely and then the ears put back together. I very much doubt that you will be able to do that now.
