This is an example of real time rendering of GPS coordinates in QGIS.
I have implemented a QGIS plugin that reads coordinates from a redis server and renders them in real time using SVG symbols.
The redis server runs in a docker environment and is fed with 2000 GPS coordinates each 0.1 seconds. The QGIS plugin reads the coordinates from the redis server and renders them in specific time intervals. The update frequency of the flight layers is dependent on the zoom level. Update frequencies are 2.5s, 0.8s and 0.25s.
