Thanks for the review. I have not tried the new bike, but sat on it and I think your assessment of the riding position is spot on. It sounds like they improved the suspension over the old bike so good job QJ. I will also miss the shift from second to third far more often than I think I should. I’ve noticed the bike has a lot of clutch slack so I wonder if they come like that from the factory. I’m going to try and adjust it out. The fueling on my bike does not seem as smooth so it looks like they addressed that too. Good to see QJ making progress on the quality and addressing issues from the last model. The fact the price dropped on this model is fantastic.

It’s crazy how much you get for 30000 rnb, but this is what you get as a costumer out of this super stiff competition between CFmoto, QJmotor, Kove, Voge and others! They put more expensive details and lower the price at the same time! The brakes are so nice! The only thing I would improve upon is the gearbox, by now this is my only complaint. I’m not sure about reliability, but I think it should be ok! BTW yesterday I rode Ducati V4S and obviously the bike is another level beast, but it had some problems with reliability despite of its price tag) So I would argue that the reliability of these newer Chinese bikes is going places

Yes, we certainly get a lot of bang for the buck with QJ in particular, but all the Chinese bikes. It will be interesting to see about the long term reliability, but I think it may be okay. The refinement of my QJ is not the same as my Suzuki, but it seems this bike has fixed some of the issues of the old model so I think they are making progress in the refinement department. I think this bike makes more sense now since it seems the QJ 450 is more relaxed and this one is more sporty. With an aftermarket exhaust this engine sounds really good.

By the way, how’s the power compared to the QJ srk 450? 0-100 seems similar, but the 550 seems better after that. Is there a noticeable difference in how the power feels in between the two bikes? I realize it’s hard to say if you don’t ride them back to back.

@@evanmcknight2566 It felt a bit faster than 450, but not as fast as I expected, but for me 550 abs was better, less intrusive, easier to do stoppies, and and it’s still faster! Oh and it’s a bigger bike, so the pillion feels better. Ergonomics isn’t for everyone, but other than that I think 550 is a better motorcycle, and I liked the clutch more compared to 450, the engagement zone is more pleasant for me personally

Cool, thank you for the comparison. I took my 550 to the shop today to put on a stiffer rear shock. I hope that improves it where I’m satisfied with the handling. It isn’t bad, but not exactly where I’d like it to be. If that doesn’t work I’ll have to do the hard thing and lose more weight.

Nice review as always, I just sold my 2022 450sr and considering the 550s. But I'm not a fan of the tail design. Also, 550 isn't a big jump from 450. I may wait for CFMOTO's 675 release.

Appreciate it 🤝 Honestly I would wait for SR675 as well, I think it should be available in late June or July, yesterday saw the first video of SR500 VOOM, looks unique, but not what I’ve expected. Coming back to 550s I think it’s a solid choice regardless! You get so much bang for your buck, but I don’t like the rear part too, they should have designed it better 😂 especially given how good the front end looks)

@@eddywave3315 My local dealership told me 675 will be released in September. I guess 500SR would be two models, a VOOM and a regular one, since the prototype bike doesn`t look like the VOOM at all. Chinese market love four cylinder sports bikes, CFMOTO won`t be that stupid to only release a retro-styled sports bike which most people hard to accept. Personally I`m a fan of the design tho.

Great review Brother! Aggressive riding position for old riders😎 The bikes looks great in that colour scheme too. Very much looks like the Ducati Panigale which in my opinion doesn’t give QJ a real styling difference than say CFmoto & Modena40 styling. Perhaps QJ needs to partner with a reputable design studio company? Thanks again & appreciate your hard work! What do you do normally work wise in China? One day we will meet back at your home!

Thank you as always! This bike is great for the money! I can’t agree more about the design, it looks great, but it’s not unique, and CFmoto gives you something else! And it looks awesome most of the time. Just saw there SR500 VOOM and it looks unique I just work as a manager in a foreign company (some boring stuff) I wish this day will happen 🤜🤛 I appreciate your support bro🤝

Hey man, great review 👍🏻 A question please Which one is better QJ 600RR or CFMOTO 450srs ?
@evanmcknight2566
21 күн бұрын
If you can get it the QJ800 is based on the Honda cbr650r and a much better bike than the QJ600RR and not much more money. This channel has good reviews on all three bikes so check them out. The QJ600RR is based on an old QJ platform and is very heavy. The QJ 450 seems to be very similar to the new Kawasaki ninja 500 engine so maybe a licensed copy of that motorcycle engine. It is also much less expensive than the 600RR and much lighter. If you can afford the 600RR try to spend a bit more and get the 800 or if you want something light and inexpensive the 450 would be a be good choice if you want to go with QJ. The 550 reviewed in this video is also an interesting choice offering you more power than the 450 for not a lot more money, but they are different bikes. I have the feeling the 450 would be a better dailly rider and the 550 more fun to rip around on on the weekends, but both could be used for either purpose. I currently have two motorcycles. An older version of the QJ 550 (last years version of the bike in this video) and a suzuki gsx250r. For fun I ride the QJ 550, but for just going places I ride the suzuki 250 (which is slow but easy and pleasant to ride). The QJ 550 is faster, but feels like more work to ride well. I have a feeling the QJ 450 will be in between my two motorcycles.

@@evanmcknight2566 first of all, thanks for answering. The problem is that in my country we don't have the QJ800 yet, so I'm stuck between the QJ600 and the CFmoto 450, so which one do you think is better?

Honestly QJ 600rr is my least favorite bike among all of the Sport bikes from QJmotor, and it’s a great bike overall! Super popular in China, safe to say it’s reliable, but I expected so much more in terms of performance given 600RR name. It felt very heavy, and the power felt very low to me. It sounds great! It’s very stable, and smooth, but it’s not what you expect from 600cc motorcycle. 450srs on the other hand is super light! Looks amazing as well! 270crank, we have TC, awesome brakes, it wouldn’t be slower than 600rr but it’s 50kg lighter!!! So for me it’s 450srs! ‼️BUT‼️if by any chance, SRK800 comes to your country, than don’t think twice!!! It’s an animal, it’s great, super addictive and fast!!! The only think I didn’t like was the sticking gearbox, other than that it’s an awesome motorcycle!!!

550s is faster! Honestly the only two things 600RR has over 550s is inline 4 sound, and smoothness, but performance wise 550 will blow it out of the water! But unfortunately I haven’t measured acceleration of 600 myself, but it felt slow…
