On International Children's Day, members of global direct selling company, QNET, participated in an event held by the Osh House of Babies.
The House of Babies cares for 39 children, 28 of whom are orphans. Deputy First Mayor , Alimjan Baigazakov, said the children faced a great challenge and the city understands this and will try to help where possible. He presented money and added that he hopes these measures in the future would be more tangible.
QNET presented a minivan and its keys to the director of the home. It also donated baby strollers. The manager of the company said that the company focused on social support of underprivileged children, and there will be more projects in the future.
Bernhard H. Mayer, Trustee of RYTHM Foundation (the CSR arm of QNET) said, "I am happy that I could come and support the children. QNET is doing very well in Central Asia. While I am in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan or in Mongolia I feel at home. We thought it would be right if we could present the little children a minivan, so the caregivers can easily drive them anytime. The House of Babies really needs a minivan."
QNET is a direct selling company that utilises an e-commerce platform, and operates in more than 130 countries. According to its Independent Representatives, you can earn money by running your own online business.
One of them, Mustakim Nizamiev, says, "QNET is an e-business. It has its own charity arm called RYTHM Foundation, which renders assistance to the underprivileged around the world, including orphans in many countries."
These Independent Representatives can not only start their own business with QNET and earn money from it; they can also get involved with charity projects and lend help to the less fortunate, in this case, the children.
As for the House of Babies, the staff say that the donations came as a surprise. Now the administrators can drive the two children who need medical treatment to the nearest hospital, 300km away in Bishkek.
Erkegul Smaanalieva, Director of House of Babies says: "I would like to express my gratitude to QNET for this vehicle that will be a great help in serving the children. We bring up children from as young as newborns to 6 year olds. Some are disabled or ill, and in need of various consultations and medical treatment." Follow us on:
