Can I ask where you bought this kit from, was it from qs directly? I'm looking at buying the same set up for a future build and am curious which route you went.

hey man i got a cbr250rr that i'm converting. i stripped it and made a rough plan but components are what stopping me of purchasing. you have the 250r ninja, so thats very close to mine. did you use and fit a 6 x 17inhc rim to the ninja? was there any issues with the tyre or swingarm that had to be altered ? cheers in advance

No the 6 inch wont work you need the 8kw one that has a 3.5 inch rim. You can only use the 6 inch rim of bikes bigger then 600. You will need to fabricate something to hold the motor in to the rear axel , the axel is part of the wheel so it doesnt come out . Then you need to make a custom brake mount because it wont line up with your stock mount .

Wierd it might depend on your supplier you purchased it from some times they don’t include all the parts, then you have to figure out what your missing .

Your lucky you got the right motor, or got it at all. However, they being the Chinese are famous for advertising the newest and greatest only to send the older model, ostensibly by mistake but in fact trying to clear out old inventory. Leaving pieces out of a kit is also synonymous when buying from China direct.

My pet peeve concerning these hub motors is the look and design that's pressed upon you. They're ugly. They look like they're Asian built. Also, they use old stock as much as possible to compliment new parts being introduced. For example, that wheel was the exact same looking wheel since day 1 when it was a 2kw motor. Very communist of them. It's probably just 1 digit difference in stock number too.

Hello. I want to build an e-motorcycle. And I have no clue. In Greece they dont really exist... So to build it, I will have to order from abroad. Is QS a good place to buy? Also, why does it not have prices? It works with sellers? And if yes, is it a good idea to buy from there? :/

@@diyguy1476 i have much time. Since atm I am a university student, I don't have the money to make it. But I decided to start learning now, so that when I get to work and have more money( in about 2 years from now) I won't have to do as much research. Glad to know that people like you exist. I guess we'll see then. Also thanx for the quick response. ^_^

Try Golden Motors. They are Chinese of course but have an oversees branch in Canada. Prices for everything.
