I have only been following this channel for a short time, maybe 6 weeks. I have noticed you uping your game. Production quality, amount of content and listening to feedback. Well done.

I love my Micarta scales with 14c28n knives. I also like the damascus blades with tear drop carbon fiber . The Damascus is Vg 10 with 9cr18mov.

I have the hawk in 14c28 and blue micarta. Picked it up for $42. The micarta is some of my favorite. Thought about getting a s35 hawk and swapping the scales, but there is really nothing wrong with the 14c28. My knives don't see much hard use anyway. One of the best thumb actions I've seen.

And 14c28nsteel is a very tough steel and works great in tougher use, in many cases i prefer 14c even over s35vn, and i think qsp has amazing micarta i really want to get more

I read that the stainless is VG10 and 8cr. I've had this knife for about 4 months, and flipped it probably 10 million times. I am always flipping it, now my Mantra 3 it's getting the same treatment. I do like the weight of this knife. I like how it feels in the hand. I can't wait to see how the Vera wood patinas over the years. Hope you enjoyed it.

The action on yours is better than mine. Mine is the 50 dollar green micarta and a sandvic steel. I wish I would have waited for the S35VN one, but I was at a gun show and it just looked so great with the smooth micarta and I impulse bought it and a cjrb knife with jade g10 and a cool curved blade. I forgot the name of it.

I have the cheaper sandvic version with micarta handles, it is a great knife but I wish I waited and got the S35VN version (that is one of my favorite steels since I got my esee 4 in it).

I decided on this knife after weeks of video watching. I got the damascus version with carbon fibre/aluminum foil in the end, functional pocket jewelry. Thanks for all your reviews.

Yo, Jared... I just received my QSP Hawk. It has a lot of lock stick. Feels like there's a burr on the lockbar or maybe on the tang. What would you do to address this problem. Should I try a radius on the lockbar or tang..?
@NeevesKnives

I have videos on how to address this issue, check them out, but sounds like you might want to hit the top of your lockbar with 300 grit sand paper then smooth it out if needed.

I have the blue micarta version. Pretty decent little knife. Good action, good ergo's, and good steel. Mine does not have late lock up like yours, or any detent lash thankfully. That's surprising because I've gotten two other knives that have it lately, one being the Orion Solaris, which really disappointed me. The other is the Pilar 3, which being made by CRKT doesn't surprise me at all. I should have known better than buying a CRKT. QSP is impressing me lately. I'd like to check out their Premium Legatus. Just not sure I want to pay what they're asking for it.

I really like the QSP knives I have. I love what they do with the flipper tabs -> They designed it so that in the open position you can put the index finger there!! I much prefer this over forward finger choils which are reduing the cutting edge. It's similar to the Leopard knive which I also really like. Do you know the new QSP Hamster?? It's a tiny full Titan framelock with S35VN aaand I Love it tooo lol :p Also you liked the Pelican -> I would really like to know how you would like the QSP Locust.. I think its really nice! Smoothest fall shut action out of the box on all my knives such nice quality!!

Also the QSP clips are so well thought out no movement no hot spots perfect... compared to Civivi where i had 2 knives and the clips are so bad (they move up and down and give hot spots) i had to remove them (Elementum and Dogma)
@NeevesKnives

Oh wow really ive never had any issues with civivi clips, I always make sure my clip screws are nice and tight with thread locker, and no i havent seen the Hamster yet im gonna have to go on there page and check it out, I really need to check more of there knives out im kind of late to the party

@@NeevesKnives it's a small issue on the elementum, the clip is tight at the top but at the touchpoint on the micarta it does stick and then slipp alittle up and down, so it jumps and i can feel it with the hand. Other clips might also move but they dont do the stick and slip. With the Dogma copper, the handling, opening and closing and feeling is just much better without the clip for me so i removed it too
@NeevesKnives

@@tobillusion not sure if i understand, are you saying its loose where your pants goes under the clip, if so you can remove and give it a slight bend and it will fix it
@tobillusion
3 жыл бұрын
@@NeevesKnives No it's when i hold it in my hand and apply a little pressure (like when using the knive) it gives that stick-slipp effect. But that tipp for bending it slightly also could work -> so the force is high enough that it will stay and not move. Thanks alot for you help!!

Unfortunate they didn't mill out the liners. I like this knife, but it is a bit heavier than you would think for it's size.
