In this video we look at a few techniques to make Bloom's unpredictability a bit more predictable and controllable. With self patching we can create chord progressions and selective mutation, and with pattern cycling we can create more desirable sequences down (up?) the branches and paths.
Another tip (Not in the video) to have better outcomes with random branches, try running your cv output into a quantizer with a slightly narrower key range, this will make the sequence sound a bit less erratic especially when you have the branches at a higher level (5-8).
