Don't run direct to battery use a power from headlight that will only power when ignition is turned on, this will still drain power as always connected

Hi Steve, check out www.quadlockcase.com Select your model of phone and then just choose from the options 👍🏻. This install we used the fork stem mount with vibration dampener and usb charger.

Hi, apologies for the delay. I purchased the original case (select your phone first), fork stem mount and the vibration dampener. 👍🏻

Is there any bullet connectors for heated grips under the front on these bikes? As well as doing quadlock usb, I need to do that too.

Personally the only thing I am looking at installing is my Garmin. I can't see shit in the sunshine with my top of the tin Samsung. I really think putting a cell phone is the biggest waste of time and money. Time to say it to all the people ... put your god damn phone away. Especially on a bike. Time to disconnect and to what the bike is there for ... enjoy the ride.

To be honest the only reason i fitted it was to use my phone as a sat nav, there is no other reason really to need to see your phone while riding 👍

There is a certain charm in memorising maps, real maps printed on paper, and it is a brain excercise. At the same time when you do it once the memory of that route stays in yer head. When riding on familiar roads near to your home, or in your country, who needs a sat nav, unless you are going to cross the mongolian step?! If I am going from Sweden to Austria, for example, all I need to know is, take the E4 south, Denmark is done in a jiffy, and in Germany I need to stay on the A1, then A7 etc etc...and if you get off those for a beer or schnapps, you have to use your built in compass for a while. But I realise times they are a changing and people get used to different new gadgets, and both methods work, just that sat nav and phone has no charm and takes away a small amount of adventure. 🙂

@@GeorgeFafa Yep there is a wonderful thing called a triptych that the automotive club here in Alberta (ama) gives for free to its members. You tell them where you are going and they print out a great multipage map. Something the cellphone generation should realize that exists! And you don't have to thing about dead zones.
