Good video. I feel like every time I forget how to solve a quadratic sequence I go on to KZitem and find a different method :)

I’m not even close to doing my GCSEs. I just randomly clicked on this video and it made quadratic sequences SO much simpler! Thank you man.😅 I‘ll defiantly have a headstart of this topic.

Hello teachers I'm you student i want understanding the meaning of 3n+?
@MathslearnCoUkvideos
3 жыл бұрын
The sequence 3n represents 3*1=3 3*2=6 3*3=9 3*4=12 3*5=15 It is basically the 3 times tables So it represents the sequence 3, 6, 9, 12, 15... So 3n+? is the sequence above with an additional number added on so 3n+2 would be 2 more than the above sequence ie (so 2 more than the 3 times table) 5, 8, 11, 14, 17 etc... It still goes up by 3, but starts at 5 rather than 3

You can also 'cheat' to get C by setting N to 0 by subtracting the second difference from the first first difference to find value of a0. A+B+C=an = 0+0+C=a0
