Shelbyville High School finished 9th out of 27 karts during the 2023 high school edition of the Purdue evGrand Prix race-and, driver Logan Prickett says, that's pretty good considering their school didn't have an ev go-kart team one year ago. In the weeks between the qualifying event and the race, Logan said his team learned about energy and time management because the kart uses energy differently in each event. He said Shelbyville had just the right number of students on the team, and they've thought about how to share what they've learned with future students.
