Your English is truly excellent, better than many who speak it as their first language. Growing up in New Zealand we called them press studs. In Ireland they are known as these but also as snaps or snap fasteners. It changes depending on whether they are plastic, metal or the ones put in using a little machine similar to rivets or eyelets. Thank you for a great design, just what I was looking for. Will be making it as soon as I finish typing this. Much appreciated.
