Dear Mr. Harrold, Absolutely delightful, yet again. I do bake my own scones and like them the Devon way, but then again, scones are ALWAYS lovely, aren‘t they? Your Royal Dachshounds are sooo sweet. I am enjoying them as your companions so much! Have a good night and carry on the good work! Faithfully, Sara ( a European transplant in New England/ US).

Using the Royal Dachshunds is such fun to watch. Lovely 😍 that made me laugh seeing the various comments supposedly said by the dogs...very clever. "I know he will drop some food"...brilliant and what a chuckle (Take note: don't let the chef on to that point) Thank you so much for sharing this video. I got it wrong in London tsk-tsk, but in Cornwall (because I was admonished by wait staff in London) I got it wrong again (because did the opposite). I was so self conscious I felt like scurrying under my table. People were a bit thin on the ground, but I got a dachshunds point of view.

So hungry for a proper scone now. We have a lovely tea house here in Florida USA, that my niece and I enjoy. We traveled to Ireland last year, I will just say we were truly enlightened!!! The scones were amazing! Much different than those served at home. We did the cream first then jam, didn’t know it was a debate. And the tea was amazing. I would love to travel to England and sample afternoon tea! Thank you as always for the videos.

I loved this! I did not know that there were names/places associated with the order of cream and jam. Your garden area and tea table are charming. Finally, I am going to have to work on my pronunciation of "scone like gone, not scone like bone" Thank you!

That is so interesting they do it different ways. Never head of the Cornish way. Guess I should look up what the difference is between the cream and butter.

Tea and scones, something I miss from my time living in England. The scones in America are not as good, and it is near impossible to find clotted cream. I I loved this video! Thank you.

The only way is to get a source for raw milk or cream (farmer's markets, artisan cheese shops) and make your own. The waste milk makes the best scones.

I'm curious about your knives. I collect old knives and I have some that look similar to yours. Mine have bakelite handles with stainless steel blades. Are yours like that? Are the blades stainless steel or silver plated? Sheffield? Universal?

I love scones very much. It is not easy to get the clotted cream here. I hate to serve them and people will put the cream and jam on it and then put the top on them.I never invite them to tea every again!

I thought the Queen's Butler said NOT to cut the scone with a knife but to crack it open with your own hands and apply only a little bit of cream or preserve per piece instead of the whole scone. Someone is wrong here.
