It's one of my biggest goals of 2020 to catch a lightning, keep on doing big things! Also dickheads who leave trash are the ones who should have their license revoked, go home with anything you brought, if not more!

Any spots to hit at horse show lake I’ve tried 2-3 times recently no luck. From off the dock and and close by. I’m using garlic power bait

Powerbait. Nothing was hitting lures/micetails, etc.. that day.

Hey! I've been on the struggle bus for these past few months trying to find the trout around san jose, are there any lakes that have good fishing? Thanks!
@EarthenRangers

I've only fished for them (ever) at Lake Amador, Lake Chabot, and Quarry Lakes. Amador being the lake I usually do the best at and Quarry being the spot a usually struggle at the most. (Chabot somewhere in the middle)

I still have to catch one of those...went twice and got skunk on spoons. Locals make a frickin mess. Fools need to pick up their shit...it's gotten worst over the last couple of years.

Did you have to drag the fish across the ground? Why not use the net?
@EarthenRangers

The trout had snagged itself (which was mentioned via voice & text in the video), causing the line to severely stretch and fray. I've lost handfuls of large trout like this, trying to net them, once they were near shore and after a "fight" that caused the line to fray. Thus, I dragged the fish, so that I did not lose the fish (NOTICE how the fishing-line snapped right after it was drug on shore). I also dispatched the fish 30 seconds later (to limit suffering, which was not on film). My son and I also always give thanks to the animal that we harvest (this is a personal thanksgiving process, that is usually not on film). We cleaned up the area we fished-in, as a further form of thanksgiving & environmental stewardship. We ate the entire trout over the next two days. This is ethical fishing. This is the way ;)

Between the other fisherman and people on the trails, there was hundreds of people at the lake this weekend. From the video perspective it looks like we're in the middle of nowhere tho.
