Thank you for joining the conversation. We love Ace Hardwares. We shop there in Blythe every year. They are local franchises. We know an owner of one. But they can't possibly carry as much as a mega box store. Just a fact. NOT a preference. And showers were $10 on the date the video was made. Enjoy.

Have heard so much this since we bought our travel van, now that we've seen some info on it, we'd probably pass. But to each his own and I can see why people would enjoy it. Full timers looking for warmer weather it's a good inexpensive option. We tend to avoid huge campgrounds as this seems to be, we bought a type of van that we can often park where RVs can't. We'd rather find a golf course somewhere, usually when we play it, and wake up with a great view of the course. Travel safe

I have watched tons of videos about Quartzsite and I have absolutely no desire to even visit the place. My desire to live a nomadic lifestyle is to get away from masses of people. It's just open desert. If you don't have any kind of toilet, you're asked to stay near the pit toilets. Other than that, anywhere you want. People who only have one vehicle, which sleep in often leave chairs or something out to save their area. If you are traveling as a single female, we highly recommend being there for the Rubber Tramp Rendezvous, where there's an exclusive event only for women only. But a large portion do leave some stuff out when they're gone. Also, there's a lot of Facebook groups you can join to find others you may want to park near. 😊
