AMAZING SONGS. I didn't play it perfectly because this was already like the 5th take and the video is almost 10 minutes long but thats fine lol. Anyways, The March Of The Black Queen is like the big sister to Bohemian Rhapsody. Just sheer perfection. And as always, fantastic bass work by John. You'll notice that in some parts of MOTBQ I play some notes an octave lower, I just play it that way as I feel it fits better rather than the high octave. But of course on the tab is displayed exactly how John played it. I also decided to re-do MOTBQ because my old tab had a lot wrong with it, but over a year later and a lot more experience and new sources that I can use for transcribing. I can guarantee this is the most accurate tab anywhere on the internet, for both songs! Also, with the release of this video, I have completed the entire black side of Queen II! I have a tab for Ogre Battle, The Fairy Fellers Master-Stroke, Nevermore, The March Of The Black Queen, Funny How Love Is, and Seven Seas Of Rhye! So don't forget to check any of those other ones out if you want to learn them!

The 1min 30 segment, 1 sec that shows how Deacon was a fabulous composer. He can stay mute when needed and each time when it s the right moment he will do one of his signature Bridge that brings the song to higher grounds. The composition is fully dedicated to the whole song, no useless skill demonstration. The guy is a genius of bass composition. And of course thanks for this splendid rendition

Side note from the excellent lesson that this is, I watched this after seeing your Killer Queen video and your plucking technique improved MASSIVELY in the span of a year-ish. Well done.

Great job! MOTBQ is a tricky tune to nail. Deacon is such an unsung hero. One of my top 3 favorite and most influential bass players. Love that Noir Precision, too!

Honestly, I absolutely dislike funny how love is. I think it is the weakest and the filler track of Queen 2. But the fact that the weakest filler track of the album has such a cool-ass bassline just speaks volumes about John's creativity tbh.
