You have to love the armchair critics...the men and women that couldn't hit a note if it were the broad side of a barn, yet describe his voice as 'weak'. They probably saw Rog say "It was an ailing voice - but still, he hit a note," and somehow interpreted that to mean Freddie's voice was weak. He recorded some of his most beautiful...some of his most powerful vocals while ill. Much respect to him.

The man put body and soul into his music, and time and time again told the world it was for us, the fans. Although, Freddie Mercury, to me, is Rock n Roll’s greatest vocalist, this, to me, is his greatest vocal recording. The man was dying from such a deadly disease, and he just put his heart into his final recording. A lot of today’s artists can learn a lot from him.

One of darling Freddie's most powerful and impassioned vocals, recorded when he was so very, very sick...

Unbelievable !! My wife sent me this, I had never heard it before. My GOD, the man was a powerhouse. Freddie is an Angel singing in GODs choir, lead vocals I’m sure. I can’t wait for the movie !!

Se nota el esfuerzo que realizó la gran reina del rock para sacar la que en mi opinión es la despedida más épica de un músico en la historia

Brian May describes this 1st and only vocal take by Freddie as sounding like a laser through crystal... best and only description

Yes and yes. From a technical singing point of view, there are moments where you can tell that the notes are coming from a slighter-framed Freddie (especially in his "chest" voice); but that's all, it's not "weakness".

To think this close to death he delivered what is arguably his best vocal performance. Incredible.
