Perfection!! This song was written by Brian May for the Highlander movie with Christopher Lambert & Sean Connery RIP 😍 Other songs from the soundtrack are worth a listen ... PRINCES OF THE UNIVERSE, ONE YEAR OF LOVE, GIMME THE PRIZE, A KIND OF MAGIC, DON’T LOSE YOUR HEAD. Fantastic songs! 🌸💗

I love this song, I’ve told my husband to play it at my funeral not that I’m planning on popping off just yet 🤣. As much as I love this concert and Freddie chatting with the audience before it, my favourite version of this is at Budapest. He’s upped his charisma level another notch, he’s flexing his stuff and doing high kicks! He’s wonderful, and I love him. It makes me sad that most reactors don’t do that one. It doesn’t matter though, I love this one too. How about doing Stone Cold Crazy and In the Lap of the Gods at the Rainbow? There is a revisited totally different version of Lap of the Gods at Hammersmith that you could do after. Now I’m Here at Wembley. You’re going to be inundated with suggestions you know

Thanks! Great reaction to a great performance - although I think this is the Saturday gig and personally I prefer Freddie's Friday rendition. There's not much to choose between them (except for the colour of Brian's T-shirt!) but Freddie hits a couple of the notes better and I love how he raises himself up on tip-toes as if to reach those notes. That said...I enjoy John's little twirl in this. The "be together until we die" remark is sadly prescient. Try Somebody to Love live in Montreal or the complete set from Live Aid...they tend to be the most requested Queen moments.

I doubt many of us actually want to live forever... can you imagine remembering the deaths of your own great great grandchildren and before... in fact that is what inspired this song, the film Highlander where an immortal suffers the loss of loves and family over multiple centuries..... who wants to live forever! Get what you meant though ... to be remembered forever ... Freddie / Queen 👑 ❣️👑❣️👑

You asked if this was their best performance. Every performance was their best! They loved and respected the fans who spent their money (and time) too much to give less than that. They quit playing live when Freddie couldn't give his best and went back to the studio and videos where they could take the time so their music was as amazing as ever.
