One of the best remix which match with the original song.

Amazing mix. Simple but better than the other 1000 mixes of this song!

Sam Haynes I agree with you 100% A simple, but effective remix is usually the best way to go. The original track is there with a bit of extra seasoning to make the track appeal to a wider audience.

Got to disagree. This is barely a remix. Jam & Spoon's Sexy Club Mix is still the superior remix by a country mile.

I expected to hate this remix, but it's pretty good. A shame most of those who did Bowie remixes weren't this capable. I don't know what David Guetta got for remixing Heroes, but he should have gotten life in prison.

This is awful. It's just a beat put behind the original. It's ok to hate remixes but there's a real craft behind some of them, and Bowie had a few great ones. That said, I agree with you that Guetta's "Heroes" was not one of them.

@@jimwantsaliens what do you think the first remixes WERE, exactly? In the mid-70s, Walter Gibbons would stretch drum breaks, first using just vinyl, until the whole song was just a drum break. Francois Kevorkian would (to his chagrin) play live drums to what he was playing at the club he had a residency at. Frankie Knuckles used the rudimentary drum machines available in the late 70s to add a different beat on top of other songs. He continued that throughout his career. Some of the best remixes there are, that's literally the only change made.

@@OverlordR No, the best remixes have entirely new production and often rearrangement.

@@OverlordR But this is 1996, has nothing to do with the foundations. This is weak for 1996.
