Nice machine, just considering this one myself. Another Yorkshire expat, but in Sydney.

I'm leaning towards pulling the trigger on the queenant pro v2 with this offline controller as you have here. You're the only review I've been able to find on KZitem for the upgraded V2. Waiting patiently for your next video . . . hope all is well.

Thanks Jack - so far I am very impressed with the QueenAnt - it is leaps ahead of the QueenBee if you are familier. For my woodworking needs I know it will be perfect.

How do you like this machine and it's rigidity? Will it mill steel and aluminum?

I have seen people mill Aluminum successfully, but I think steel might be pushing it. I only really interested in wood and the softer metals

I'm looking at the queenant pro v2.... they offer the offline controller. I've been trying to do my due diligence as a newbie before committing. Lol. I was looking at the Onefinity Elite Journeyman but the cost is a bit steep for my wallet and the lead time is crazy! And the size is still a bit too small. But... Closed loop stepper motors... Masso controller... Takes about half an hour to put together... Huge community support... North American company... Etc. That's a big deal to me. The queenant pro v2 is a good alternative, but there seems to be a couple of trade offs. A LOT of assembly!!! A LOT of wiring!!! And the options for controllers seem limited. I've chosen the offline controller for the build I'm looking at, but I'm really unsure. The wiring part makes me very uneasy. It's not that I don't understand it... it's just that mistakes can be made that are catastrophic to the system, and I just don't know if I feel comfortable taking the risk. There's no guarantees if I screw up. And there doesn't seem to be any support. It certainly is a cheaper alternative and looks to be a very good machine. And the size is definitely what I'm looking for! I'm just sitting here with my finger on the trigger not able to make up my mind which way to point the gun!

Hi Jack, I just want to point out that "yuyongindustry" gives the option of choosing between assembling the "control box" yourself or they do it for you for extra money. other than that it's a good start machine for a bigenner to learn CNC and then take it a step further to build a stifer one by yourself from scratch. I noticed that they have a $500 discount coupon code if the total cost is over $2300.
