We eat bake dumplin, commom fowl egg, renta yam, chicken back, mango, sweetsop from jamentel and nesberry from white horses, carry water, draw sain etc but we never had such large cases of childhood diabetes, obesity, ADH, Hi drug use, cutting, suicide, and some of the current rich people food as we call it dem time deh. Those days we knew our neighbors middle names, we had to read books, listen to story time, nevil wiloby on radio, walk go shop, buy ice cream from the bikeman or the crazy jim truck, walk a mile to go shop a mass fatman shop, I look back and i think we were privilage as todays generation is sick physically, mentally and have no sense of self also them cant think on the spot and be as creative we from rhat period can. It was a blessing and not being poor
