Had the pleasure of meeting Josh and Dean a few nights ago, truly awesome people even without their musical genius.

This album has something all the other albums didn't have, the built up pain and heartache of time, loss, and dissappoinment, with a mix of kiss my ass that ties it all in. I won't say their growing up, but rated R and songs ftd were great albums, but this is true musician stuff. But mosh pits and world of warcraft aren't for me anymore either.

I'm so happy they collaborated with Trent Reznor and Dave Grohl! They definately made sure they did everything as expressive as possible. + Elton John & This bone face fella? Perfect! But, down to it. Josh made a great decision on focusing on art and animated art. It made me fall in love with the album even more. Not a big fan of QotSA but this album is undeniably expressed from the mind like great music.

He did some special bits for the late show, i think. the bits with letterman getting kicked out of the car, the silhouette of the band etc

I Thought so too when I first heard the album. I didn't immediately enjoy it but I gave it it's fair chance and a few more listens. I think I was a little shocked because it sounds very different from their other stuff but the more I listen to it the more I like it.

Every album is a reflection of the mental state and the actual times you were in. The music that comes out, comes out. You can't just force it because some fans can't accept the fact that people grow up and evolve.

yeah, that song... to NOT get it, you'd have to have lived a shallow sheltered life wherein you never really loved, LOVED somebody else so much that the biggest piece of you is what they gave - then to have that person leave you.. you just Go Missing on the inside... you don't even know who you are or how to feel, there's no drug with heavy enough withdraws to feel.worse Rest of your days you're always hoping that Person who left a heart shaped hole in you thinks of you as someone they missed.

Boneface actually is not the animator. He draws everything and designs everything, but the animator is Liam Brazier. Brilliant work, just brill... This is GOOD stuff!

a very different incomparable queens record. If you ride the wave it pays off in spades. Light-years ahead of what most "rock" (if there are any) bands are up to these days.

Still, this was the biggest deception this year. I've been loving QotSA for years, every album, and now that dull album... Damn, I've been kicked in the face by the last Boards of Canada album instead.
