The average person doesn’t comprehend how hard it is to do this! Excellent work!

It's not easy to time a Pitching machine. There's not a lot of windup to get your timing mech down. My buddy up in Minnesota humps up the machine first few AB's cut down the intimidation factor as well.

from the distance its at its equivalent 100 mph. for expsample a 50 mph pitch from 40 feet away would be the equivalent of a 76 mph pitch from 60 feet 6 inches away.

@@wongfu82no shit but training reaction time off a machine is way harder than hitting 100mph off a real pitcher

This hitting session did nothing for the viable contact percentage, mechanics or confidence of Quentin. He was late on nearly every pitch and did not firmly square up balls. Better approach is to find a speed where the batter can excel without altering their mechanics. From there gradually increase the speed until you find the point where they just start to decline a little. Build their viable contact percentage gradually to help with confidence. Overpowering a hitter does not improve a hitter. Tracking Quentin’s stats I see where he struck out 159 times in 2019 in 112 games (1.41 strikeouts per game). That strikeout ratio continued the next 3 seasons and he was released in August 2022. Quentin as of 2023 is in Independent Ball and now his strikeout ratio is about 1 per game - is he still working out with you? Interested in seeing if his hitting training has changed and what he is doing to improve viable contact percentages.

I just love the ones who seem to know it all and do it all. First of all, this is my first workout Quentin after he had signed because he was not around New York After he was drafted in the 2nd round for 1 million dollars Once Quentin was drafted, he basically stayed in Arizona where he was under the Cleveland Indian‘s hitting instructors he rarely came home during that time so I only saw him here in there. This work out is from the time that I have not worked with Q in over a year . I am the one who was his the instructor to get him $1 million and drafted in the second round. I was his hitting instructor when he Made USA National team. (My5th kid) when he won the gold medal in Mexico City, I was in Sydney instructor when he was Joseph is for all American. I was just hit the instructor when he made the perfect game all American team, during his playing days. I did not get a chance to work with Quinten a whole lot when he became a Professional baseball player because he lived in Arizona and I live in New York City We have always talked, and we will always continue to talk as he is one of the greatest people I’ve ever known in my life . He’s still out there, doing things the way he wants to do things and with passion, and therefore tallow losers and still has a ton of money Anytime you would like to come to Harlem and show me the right way to do things. I feel much appreciative to sit back and see the genius of yourself.
